pine-state-honky-tonk-various-pine-state-honky-tonk-various-artists-music-cd
Pine State Honky Tonk / Various - Pine State Honky Tonk (Various Artists) Music CD

'Pine State Honky Tonk' (Atomicat ACCD017) begins our journey through Hillbilly Music Culture with an exploration of the tunes that laid the groundwork for the transformation in the music industry, from Country Boogie through to the changing direction of the Hillbilly genre. The aim of these albums is to; entertain and introduce people to the various styles of Hillbilly, Western Swing and Country Honky Tonk music throughout the series. The five albums in this series will focus on tunes with a dance tempo, some great foot tapping ditties with one or two instrumentals to vary the flavour. We do not join in the debate "what was the first Rock 'N' Roll song?", too much conjecture, the music is here to be enjoyed and danced to and is mainly but not exclusively pre Rock 'N' Roll music. These are albums compiled by rocking people, for rocking people and one man's jive is another man's bop, and the music is here to be played not strictly categorised Artists featured include; Western King supremo's Pee Wee King, Hank Penny, Jerry Irby and Leon McAuliffe as an introduction to the genre. Hillbilly Boogie comes from "Little" Jimmy Dickens, Red Foley, and Tennessee Ernie. The Hillbilly Cats are; Al Terry Gene O'Quin, Johnny Tyler and Jack Tucker. Patsy Cline and Bonnie Lou more than compete with the featured male artists. This is an introduction and there is more to discover on this and the forth coming four volumes. This 'Atomicat' album is compiled by well-known Dee Jay and face on the music scene Mark Armstrong, who has been Dee Jaying since his early teen years. Our albums have; stunning design, sleeve notes, 28 songs, mastered for the best possible sound available. The disc is housed in an attractively constructed cardboard sleeve, specially designed to avoid the use of plastic and be environmentally friendly. The album is great to play at home and perfect for Dee Jays who will find good dance-floor filling songs.

Tracklist:

Pee Wee King ; His Golden West Cowboys - Texas Toni Lee

Wade Ray - Idaho Red

Leon McAuliffe ; His Western Swing Band - Pan Handle Rag

Tennessee Ernie Ford - Celebratin'

Freddie Hart - Farther Than My Eyes Can See

Justin Tubb - Bonaparte's Retreat

Hank Penny - Hadacillin Boogie

Bill Haley ; His Comets - Detour

Merle Travis - Merle's Boogie Woogie 1

Jerry Irby with His Texas Ranchers (Irby - 49 Women 1

"Little" Jimmy Dickens - Hey Worm (You Wanna Wiggle 1

Jesse Ashlock - My Bank Account Is Gone 1

Patsy Cline - Turn the Cards Slowly 1

Al Terry - Passing The Blues Around 1

Tex Williams - I Got Texas in My Soul 1

Claude Casey and His Pine State Boys - Pine State Honky Tonk 1

Jess Willard - Honky Tonk Hardwood Floor 1

Gene O'Quin - I Get The Blues 1

Hank Thompson With The Brazos Valley Boy - Woodchopper's Ball 2

Eddie Hill - Steamboat Stomp 2

Red Foley - Milk Bucket Boogie 2

Tennessee Ernie - Kissing Bug Boogie 2

Don Gibson - Don't Tell Me Your Troubles 2

The Singing Ranger ; His Rainbow Ranch Boys - Can't Have You Blues 2

Johnny Tyler - Two Can Play Your Game 2

Bonnie Lou - Dancing in My Socks 2

Jack Tucker and his Oklahoma Playboys - Let Me Practice With You 2

Johnny Bond - Sick, Sober And Sorry

UPC: 4260072725331
Label: Atomicat
Release Date: 4.10.20
Format: CD

https://www.triathletestore.com/ar-ae/products/pine-state-honky-tonk-various-pine-state-honky-tonk-various-artists-music-cd
