Legardh and Flosason have assembled a NY Nordisk Kvintet (New Nordic Quintet) for this recording, which includes pianist Anna Gréta Sigurdardóttir, double bassist Jesper Thorn and drummer Espen Laub von Lillienskjold. Legardh is Danish, but has both Norwegian and Swedish blood running through her veins, and Flosason is Icelandic out-and-out, set the groundwork for an album with a distinctly Nordic - somewhat inspired by Nordic folk music.
