Imogen Ryall / Viklicky,Emil - Songs Music CD

Vocalist Imogen Ryall is back with her second album with Rubicon Jazz. After her successful album, Imogen Ryall sings the Charles Mingus/Joni Mitchell Songbook, Imogen is now joined by renowned Czech composer and pianist Emil Viklicky who has collaborated with Bill Frisell, Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. Songs Is a collection of nine compositions, a mix of original pieces written by Emil, a handful of Moravian folk songs and origianl compoitions written by Saxophonist Julian Nicholas. The rest of the band consists of Czech bassist Petr Dvorsky, who hails from Prague with Viklicky, and drummer Eric Ford.
