The Foam Top RS2™ is a modernized variation of the classic RS2 emerger pattern, designed specifically for technical trout fishing during active hatch periods. Featuring a slim realistic body, subtle foam wing profile, and glass bead head, this fly imitates emerging insects trapped just below or within the surface film where trout often feed most aggressively.

The added glass bead helps the fly reach feeding depth quickly while the foam top improves visibility and creates a natural emerging silhouette in the water. Its sparse profile and realistic presentation make it especially effective in clear water and pressured fisheries where trout closely inspect drifting insects.
