Materials and craft

The pendant is solid Maple or Olivewood, cut and engraved in my one-person studio in Hamilton, Ohio. Maple keeps the sky crisp and high-contrast; Olivewood brings a warm golden grain that makes every chart feel a little different. The chain is genuine sterling silver, adjustable from 18 to 20 inches. I finish each piece with food-safe oil and beeswax and check it by hand before it ships.

Care

Keep it dry when you can and wipe it with a soft cloth. If the wood ever looks thirsty, refresh it with a drop of food-safe mineral oil or my Wood Butter. With basic care it holds up for years.
