2012 album from the Texas-born singer/songwriter and former American Idol hopeful. Permanent is a collection of soulful and uplifting songs, the majority co-written by Jessica and EMI writer John Gordon in his home town of Aarhus in Denmark. Inspired by Jessica's real-life experiences, the album is a blend of brilliant programming, which was produced and mixed in Chicago and overlaid by the city's session players, including members of the Chicago Philharmonic Orchestra.
