Singer, percussionist and flutist Dd Saint-Prix has been a leading exponent of West Indian music for 50 years. Originally from Martinique, he has popularised traditional chouval bwa music, taking it to every continent by mixing it with other rhythms from the Caribbean, Africa and Runion. A committed musician, teacher and formidable entertainer, Dd Saint-Prix is now a living legend. "If I have to use two words to sum up my musical career, they would be love and commitment. (...)
