Hiroyuki Iwaki - De Pablo: Figura en El Mar [CD]

World premier recordings of modern Spanish composer Luis de Pablo's Figura en el mar (1988-1989) concerto for flute and orchestra and Melisma furioso (1990) for solo flute are presented here, featuring Josep Pons conducting the Lorraine Philharmonic Orchestra with Pierre-Yves Artaud (flute). Also included is the world premier recording of de Pablo's Senderos del aire (1987) for large orchestra, with Hiroyuki Iwaki conducting the Tokyo Metropolitan Orchestra. All selections newly re-mastered.
