"Blason", Nicolas Comment's third solo album, is a memory game: a game of clues and coats of arms. In the form of Chinese portraits of artists' lives, the 11 songs on this album are a tribute to hidden muses and secret pygmalions. The artist (singer-songwriter as well as photographer and writer) is surrounded by France's best rock band, The Limianas, as well as dreamy backing singers - Californian Brisa Roch and her double, Parisian Milo McMullen - who embody these biopics in a game of mirrors, like the multiple faces of a die, a Rubik's cube... Accomplices - poet-composer Patrick Bouvet, pianist Maxence Cyrin, troublemaker Romain Guerret (ex-leader of the group Aline) and director ric Simonet (Movement) cross swords with Bob Dylan guitarist Freddy Koella and producer/keyboardist (and filmmaker) Marc Collin (Nouvelle Vague). Recorded at the Alphaville studio in Chtelet-les-Halles and mastered at La Bastille, Le Son mme de Paris raises the gauntlet of French chanson d'auteur, independent and rock.
