- For his debut OehmsClassics release, Sebastian Noack has selected Lieder to poems of Heinrich Heine set to music by Robert Schumann.- The 30 titles also include Dichterliebe as well as the four Lieder to texts by Justinus Kerner but withdrawn before these works went to press.- An extensive text on the transpositions of the Lieder by Max Friedlnder (1852-1934) is in the accompanying booklet.- Berlin-born Sebastian Noack studied voice at the Academy of the Arts in Berlin.- Alongside his extensive concert and operatic activities, he is a guest professor at Berlin's Hanns Eisler Academy of Music.
