Writer/director Sion Sono ("Suicide Club") conjures the lurid and surreal for this story of a sexually abused young woman (Masumi Miyazaki) who is bound inside a cello case and forced to observe her parents' carnal relations through a peephole, only to later be assaulted by her father and plagued by suicidal urges.
