THIS MOMENT IS a FLASH, the 2005 premiere release from Canadian folk-ster duo Dala, debuts the signature harmonies and sharply smart lyrics of Amanda Walther and Shiela Carabine. The popular Canadian drama series Flashpoint featured the album's single "Fortress" and spurred a huge response, creating instant and deeply dedicated fans. The rest of the album breathes with lush arrangements, with both girls playing acoustic guitar and piano, complimented by tastefully distorted guitar, light percussion and themes of love lost and found through a bittersweet coming-of-age.
