These bobbleheads feature Owlsley and Hoot, the official mascots of Florida Atlantic University (FAU). The bobbleheads commemorate the Florida Atlantic University Men's Basketball team's historic 2023 season. Each bobblehead features the mascot holding a newspaper that proclaims "Florida Atlantic Makes History in 2023" while standing on a stack of newspapers with the headline "The Owls are Flying High!" The Owls reached the Final Four for the first time in school history in 2023. The bobbleheads are officially licensed by Florida Atlantic University.
