Laika Fatien - Look at Me Now [CD]

Originally released in 2006 on Body & Soul, Look at Me Now was French singer Laïka Fatien's first solo album. It's the work of an artist on the rise, and the record was hailed by both the public and Jazz critics on both sides of the Atlantic. Produced by jazz specialist Gilles Pétard, the album features instrumentalists David El-Malek and Pierre de Bethmann providing wonderful accompaniment to sublimate the raw freshness of her singing. Fatien's recent albums include 2010's Nebula, produced by Me'Shell Ndegéocello, and 2012's Come a Little Closer, arranged by Gil Goldstein and featuring trumpeter Roy Hargrove.
