Deep in the Northern Maine Woods, between Eagle Lake and Umbazooksus Lake, lie two relics of a bygone age. These are the Allagash Ghost Trains. Accessible by either a long canoe trip or a long drive on sometimes rough logging roads and a short hike, these trains were used to transfer logs between the two lakes.
