The fourth festival Stubete am See presented 32 ensembles from the realm of new Swiss folk music. The present compilation offers an insight into the 23 concerts that took place in the Zurich Tonhalle. The Stubete am See is a stage for folk musicians who on the on the one hand have internalized tradition, but on the other are seeking out new paths and means of expression and thereby help to renew folk music from the inside out.
