About Cerridwen

Cerridwen (also spelled Ceridwen) comes from medieval Welsh legend. In the Tale of Taliesin she brews a cauldron of wisdom and inspiration, called awen, for a year and a day.

Modern pagans honour her as a goddess of the cauldron, of transformation and of the crone's wisdom. She is often called on around Samhain and at the waning moon.
