About Odin

In Norse mythology Odin is the chief of the gods, a god of wisdom, poetry, war and death. He gave up one eye at Mímir's well in exchange for wisdom, and hung nine nights on the world tree to win the runes.

He is usually shown with his spear, his two ravens and his two wolves. Many modern heathens honour him today.
