About the Deck
The Major Arcana show the Olympian gods and demigods: the Fool is Dionysus/Bacchus and the Magician is Hermes/Mercury, for example. Each Minor Arcana suit follows a cycle of classical myth, linked to planets, constellations, seasons and elements. The booklet, also by Williams, names the Greek and Roman figure on every card.
